The Power House Ride, Sponsored and hosted by Society Of Riders , will be a great ride and for a worthy cause. All proceeds will go to fund Kern County with sending Local Kids to camp KEEP & for SOR Families in Need 501(c)3. Meet up with friends in your area for a quick ride to Bakersfield. Leave early enough to arrive at “Bakersfield Harley Davidson” by 10 AM.
The ride starts with kick stands up at 10:30. We will ride approximately 1½ hours following Hwy 155 to Lake Isabella. The ride will take us into the beautiful mountains with a short stop at Saddle Sore Saloon then hop back on the bikes to end in Wofford Heights at the Kern County Elks lodge where the party will begin. Relax and enjoy a live band, while having some amazing BBQ and booze. (if you would like soda pop, and water it will be avail) Wild Flowers, Snow melt, and warm morning air, it should be spectacular.
If you can, come up to Bakersfield the night before and get a room near Hwy 178 and 99. Have dinner at the fabulous “Buck Owen’s Crystal Palace”, grab breakfast and be ready to ride. Registration opens at 8:30 with donuts. Lunch and drawing will be finished by 1:30 PM then head home or stay over and explore the many wonders of Kern County.
